About Us - About Opera Magé
Opera Magé, born in 2002 with a big ambition,the company wants to be the ring of conjunction in the thousand year history of the olives in Liguria, the future of an exceptional product: the Extravirgin taggiasca olives oil.
The inspiration of Opera Magé adventure was not an immediate fulfilment to make a profit , but to undertake a long journey to uncover the history and traditions of our territory, to understand better the imprint made by the taggiasche olives on our land, on our lives and the lives of our predecessors.
Today, thanks to Opera Magé introspection and research, we are able to transmit a piece of history and capture in our products the savour of our territory on your table.
Magino extra virgin oil is just one of the treasures we have found on the course of our journey, one of our proudest products.
For the production of this oil we select only taggiasca olives grown at an altitude of 500 mts. The very low acid a distinguishing characteristic of this oil is due to the high altitude of the olive grove which is a real rarity in the world of olive oil, the old way of harvesting and the immediate grinding of the olives.
The bottle then obtained are confectioned in cofanetto di ardesia lavorata a mano, this is also a symbol of our land.
With these few lines we hope that we have transmitted at least a small part of the passion and core of our work to bring to you the flavour of Opera Magé.
